Hello

I’m a technologist, strategist, speaker, and writer. I’ve led digital transformations from the early days of the internet, through to the cutting edge of data-driven customer experience today. I’ve lived and worked in the UK, USA and Australia, and consulted for businesses across Asia Pacific. I’ve returned to the UK as my children undertake the next stage of their schooling.

My experience spans leading sales for a US startup, CIO at the Australian Financial Review, and guiding customer strategy and advisory for Adobe APAC. I’ve been fortunate to work in a number of sectors including Media, Education, Tourism, Retail and Automotive. It’s fascinating to see the commonalities and differences in these businesses as they tackle the opportunities of digital.

I’m a technology optimist with a difference. We are moving toward greater automation via AI, and customisable views of the world through mixed reality and VR. As these changes occur I strongly believe in the importance and uniqueness of the human at the centre. I bring this philosophy to all my work because transformation ultimately isn’t just about technology, but rather about people and their context. You’ll find a few of my articles and videos below to give you a flavour.
